Choose one ready-to-run Windows edition, or get the editable source for RAD Studio 37. This release makes the requirements clear and keeps test projects out of the downloads. Translation-authoring files remain optional. All four packages belong to release 0.8.0.21.

Get exactly what your work needs.

To run DPH, choose one Windows ZIP. To build it, choose the editable-source ZIP. The fourth ZIP is optional for translation contributors.

Most people · Run the app

No component installation needed

Choose the complete Win64 or Win32 ZIP, extract it, and run DelphiProjectHandoff.exe. You do not need RAD Studio or the DAT design components. Keep the supplied WebView2Loader.dll beside the executable and the language and help folders in place. Formatted pages require Microsoft WebView2 Runtime.

Build from source? Start here.

The quick start takes you from the source ZIP to a Win32 or Win64 build in RAD Studio 37. It names the three supplied language-component BPLs and shows exactly when to open the project in the IDE.

For the clean source package, use the Build-ready source download below. Its test-fixture and example projects are excluded.

Recommended for 64-bit Windows

Run DPH · Win64

One self-contained ZIP with the Win64 executable, Change Guide, WebView2 loader, 35 offline language packs, guides, and shared assets. Nothing else on this page is needed to run this edition.

  • 38.61 MiB
  • No RAD Studio required

When you need 32-bit

Run DPH · Win32

The same complete package for the Win32 edition. Choose this instead of Win64 when you need the 32-bit executable; you do not need both Windows ZIPs.

These are experimental beta builds for evaluation. Read the release notes before testing. GitHub’s Code → Download ZIP contains repository files, not the compiled Windows application.

First use

From ZIP to a useful first look.

Keep the extracted package together. DPH reads the application project you choose; it does not compile, run, or modify that application.

  1. 01

    Extract your chosen Windows ZIP

Choose Win64 or Win32, then extract the entire ZIP to a writable location. Keep its executable, WebView2Loader.dll, language packs, and shared folders in place.

  2. 02

    Launch that edition

Run Win64/DelphiProjectHandoff.exe or Win32/DelphiProjectHandoff.exe from the extracted folder. Embedded pages require Microsoft WebView2 Runtime.

  3. 03

    Open an application project

Select a .dproj, .dpr, or .groupproj file. Larger projects may take more than a minute to analyze.

  4. 04

    Review and save your capture

Explore the handoff dossier, learning library, project map, form views, and diagrams. In Project map, select a control or routine and open Change Guide to plan an investigation. Save a .dphdb when you want to keep the analysis; keep its adjacent .dphdb.views folder with it.

Package guidance · 0.8.0.21

Each download has a specific job.

This beta keeps the Change Guide and its corrected Project map toolbar layout. Its packaging now distinguishes the ready-to-run Windows editions from the RAD Studio source project and removes unrelated test projects from release downloads. The guide continues to organize source-linked connections, files, suggested checks, and open questions for a selected control or routine. Its narrative remains English-language beta content; native navigation buttons use the offline language packs.

One Windows ZIP is enough to run

Each edition includes its own executable, loader, 35 offline interface language packs, the local translation assets, help, migrations, artwork, and current guides, including Change Guide directions. The Win64 and Win32 ZIPs were each unpacked and launched independently.

The source ZIP builds by itself

It retains the required DAT design package, dependencies, editable forms, project resource, 35 runtime language packs, and documentation. Win32 and Win64 Release builds passed from a fresh extraction without the optional authoring ZIP.

Authoring files are optional

The fourth ZIP contains the 35 Localization/Development projects used to work on translations. Extract it into the source folder only if you plan to edit language packs; do not replace Localization/Languages.

Language development

35 languages are included. More can be developed.

The packaged beta includes 35 offline interface languages. Its language selector does not download new packs, and a project's own source and documents remain in their original language.

Delphi App Translation Studio

For developers building from source, the Studio helps scan a Delphi VCL or FMX project, prepare and review interface translations, and export offline language packs. To work on DPH's existing translation projects, add the optional authoring ZIP to the extracted source. Integrate and test any new language in the app and packages; additional languages are development work, not a one-click option in this beta.

Know the boundaries

A careful handoff, not a runtime verdict.

What this release does

It reads Delphi project files, Pascal units, saved forms, and eligible local documentation. It presents source-linked explanations, visible relationships, and questions that still need a developer's judgment.

What stays local

Project source, documents, identifiers, and citations retain their original language. The optional public-website reader starts off; enabling it affects the next analysis. The website translation menu is separate from the desktop app's 35 offline interface packs.

What needs verification

Form previews are reconstructed from saved designs, not screenshots of a running app. Static source relationships do not prove every runtime path, data value, or business rule. Check findings against the cited files and the actual application.
